There are three main reasons for the improvement of ammonium chloride market:
First, urea prices have risen dramatically. Ammonium chloride and urea are both nitrogen fertilizers, which are greatly affected by the price of urea. After entering August, under the influence of many factors, such as the continuous rise of international urea price, the good situation of Urea Export in China and the start of domestic Winter Wheat Fertilizer preparation, urea prices have rebounded dramatically. In many areas, prices have risen by more than 100 yuan/ton, up to about 200 yuan/ton. The strongest rebound this year. After the price of urea rose sharply, the low price advantage of ammonium chloride became more obvious, and the market began to activate gradually, with a slow start.
Secondly, we have achieved some results in inventory removal. One of the main reasons for the downturn of ammonium chloride Market in the early stage is the outstanding contradiction between supply and demand, and the excessive stock in the market. July and August belong to the high temperature season, the ammonium chloride manufacturers for parking maintenance increased, reducing the market supply; furthermore, with the start-up of winter wheat fertilizer preparation in autumn, especially in Huanghuaihai region, the start-up rate of compound fertilizer manufacturers increased, and the purchase of ammonium chloride increased, thus digesting a lot of market stocks, and the market improved.
Third, the export volume has increased. Faced with the domestic market depression, ammonium chloride enterprises have increased their export efforts. According to customs statistics, the export volume of ammonium chloride for fertilizer reached 93.6 million tons in July, an increase of 32.65% over the same period last year, a new monthly export volume in recent years; the cumulative export volume of ammonium chloride for fertilizer from January to July reached 235.5 million tons, a substantial increase of 251.27% over the same period last year. In addition, the export of nitrogen and phosphorus binary fertilizers has also improved. In June and July, the export volume was more than 100,000 tons for two consecutive months, which is equivalent to a disguised increase in the export volume of ammonium chloride.
